Welcome, from your author…

bw-sq-250.jpg Wow Big Words was a fun run (thanks in no small part to my wonderful audience members.)  It’s amazing but I continued to find more things in the language all along.  The Big Words really are BIG.  They are glued onto concepts that  get bigger throughout life.

My next performance will be as part of a local area Obama fundraiser, along with some other talented folks. If you’re in the Portland area we’d love to have you.  Email me.

Be sure to check out these fun pictures
Thanks, John Wiley!

about The Vestibule

A …heartfelt thank you for coming out to Albuquerque and sharing your provocative one woman show: The Vestibule. [Y]our performance was captivating…I really admire your courage and creativity-in equal parts-to share personal observations and experiences and transform them for a universal message. It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all. Phyllis

Miriam’s performance is gutsy. It takes guts to show emotion and to show a lot of yourself. Al

I’m anticipating the next performance already. You’re a master with words, content and charm. It was vivid, so present, and encouraging, because people can relate to the struggle, humor and life you are willing to expose. Karen

I thoroughly enjoyed your performance. You were courageous, entertaining, and poignant. Great show!!

Your creation and performance was spectacular! Thanks so much for putting it out to share! Cathy

Truth

People clamor more and more for truth. Ferrets dig. But things seem to get muddier and muddier. That’s ok with me. From Big Words.

Broken Hearts Seem Such a Waste

This piece from About Love has gone thorugh a lot of transformation–from problem piece to oneof the centerpieces of the show.  I’ll feature this piece at Scratch–Portland’s wonderful performance lab. In the meantime, what do we do with that detritus from love gone bad?

Portland Jewish Review on About Love

“Both poetry and prose comprise this book (About Love: the bittersweet heart.) Even in her prose, Feder writes with the lyrical soul of a poet. Consider this from the prose piece called Passion: I enjoy this sweet, erotic, love-soaked slant on the fleeting light and last roses of fall. And I’m grateful to you for making me the lover I’ve always wanted to be: received; expansive and cherished. I’m surrounded by fountains of discovery and rediscovery; source and subject of so much passion.

Fantasy

I’ve always had an active Fantasy life.  In love you’ve gotta have it.  But, moderation in all things, I suppose.
